This may be one of my fastest beauty box reviews! I just got my March Beauty Heroes box in the mail and it was perfect timing: I was getting board with my current organic ingredient shampoo.
Even before I tried these products I knew I loved this company: they include little mindfulness reminders on the products and the packaging for Beauty Heroes. I need all the mindfulness help I can get!
In a nutshell: This is my new favorite organic shampoo and conditioner. And I love that Beauty Heroes provides full size products in their monthly beauty boxes.
Innersense Organic Beauty Hydrating Cream Hairbath Review
Mindfulness reminder on the bottle: I am in Harmony with the Flow of Life
What’s the difference between shampoo and hairbath? No clue but this natural “hairbath” is awesome!
I was a little nervous to try it at first because it smells, well, delicious. I thought it miight be too scented but luckily the scent disappears pretty quickly.
Love there list of what the shampoo is formulated without: phthalates, ethoxylates, sulfates, silicones, 1,4 dioxane, parabens, petro compounds, propylene and butylene glycol, PEG, MEA, TEA, MIA, artificial dyes, synthetic fragrances, gluten, GMO’s and it is cruelty free. Read more about the ingredients Innersense never uses.

So…what’s actually in it:
- Plant Source ingredients (love that they break these out): Coconut, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Tamanu Oil?, Ylang Ylang, Lavender, Orange Peel, Patchouli and Clary Sage
- I normally find ylang ylang, lavender and patchouli to be incredibly overwhelming, but everything was blended well in this hairbath and I didn’t get a headache.
- Other ingredients: Organic and non-organic versions of rice protein, quinoa, dandelion leaf extract, glycerin and a few other scientific looking names like Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine (conditioning), Sodium Chloride, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate (for foaming/cleansing), Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate (looks like an SLS, right? EWG Skindeep gives this a 1 but there isn’t much information about it) etc.
After rinsing my hair felt very hydrated and clean. This is an incredible improvement over original sprout natural shampoo.
Innersense Organic Beauty Hydrating Cream Conditioner Review
Mindfulness reminder on the bottle: I Find Inspiration in the Natural Beauty All Around Me
This conditioner also smelled great – maybe more sage then the hairbath? This Innersense conditioner has many of the same plant sourced ingredients as the hairbath with the addition of organic monoi oil and aloe vera.
So to be truthful I don’t always use conditioner because sometimes that increases the chances of my hair looking greasy. But my experience using both the Innersense natural shampoo and this conditioner was delightful. After blow drying I found my hair to feel weightless but moisturized. It reminded me of the first time I tried the original Dove shampoo when it first came out.
Innersense Organic Beauty Sweet Spirit Leave In Conditioner
Mindfulness rminder on the bottle: I Allow my Life to Flow with Ease
In my opnion if you use the cream conditioner, you don’t really need this. Unless you need it for a detangler – it smells like a detaingler if that makes sense? It smells a bit like a christmas tree.
This scent of this product lingers a bit more than the hairbath and the conditioner, but it’s not too bad considering my scent sensitivities.
Innersense Organic Beauty Harmonic Healing Oil Review
Mindfulness reminder on the bottle: I am Nourished with the Healing Power of Self-Love
This “high vibration” healing oil can be used to nourish hair, skin and nails. I think I will most definitely need it on my nails as my cuticles are in bad shape. But I’ve gotten to many body oils sent my way lately and I have way too many face oils right now so it may take me a while to try this on a regular basis. This harmonic oil is a blend of oils including rosemary which gives it a a strong scent.
This oil doesn’t seem as greasy as the Antonin B hair oil from my Glowing Beets boxes.
