New Victoria Beckham Beauty Review & Aether Beauty Eyeshadows

High Performance Clean Beauty Eyeshadows: Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre Mink Review and Aether Beauty Rose Quartz Palette review

I still have them. All of them. All of the original Urban Decay Naked Palettes. The colors were gorgeous and the staying power was rock solid, but my eyes itched all the time. From talc and whoever knows what in the shadows.

I’ve kept them to keep them on hand until I found dupes or had dupes made like from awesome makers from our Instagram clean beauty community. Over the years I’ve found gorgeous colors with little staying power or a lack of the vibrant colors I knew from the Urban Decay or Smashbox palettes I hoarded.

But now we have many new wonderful sustainable, clean beauty, green beauty, blue beauty, and organic high performing eyeshadow options!

Aether Beauty Rose Quartz Crystal Gemstone Eye Shadow Palette Review

Over a year ago I began stalking the Aether Beauty Rose Quartz eyeshadow palette. And finally this September I bought it! They have several palettes now so it was hard to choose but I’m so thrilled with my choice. All of the colors blend well and smoothly.

My most favorite shades are Astarte, Crystaline, and Startdust. These partially organic eyeshadows are also infused with rose hip oil, a favorite skincare ingredient of mine 🙂 . These gorgeous shadows (better than Urband Decay!) are also powered and illuminated by rose quartz powder! I’m saving up for their new Amethyst crystal sustainable eyeshadow palette * next!

Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre Review

While the Aether Beauty Rose Quartz palette is my go-to for organic clean beauty eyeshadow, I couldn’t wait for the launch of Victoria Beckham Beauty! I was drooling over teaser images of her products which first launched with eyeshadows. I’m in love with the look of the smoky eyeshadow bricks but know I won’t be able to handle the talc in them around my sensitive eye area. I was so stoked to see talc not listed in the ingredients of the Lid Lustre shadows!

I choose the Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre in Mink. This ethereal taupey brown color is just as posh as the coolest spice girl herself 🙂 . This sparkly soft-pressed, almost loose shadow is vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free and soy-free. I have the most sensitive eyes but it doesn’t bother me!

New! Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre Eyeshadow in Mink
Victoria Beckham Beauty’s lid lustre eyeshadow in Mink is the most gorgeous taupey-brown color and I took this picture with it against the purple sand of Pfeiffer State beach in the Big Sur area of california.

The best color I can describe Mink as is the taupey purple shade of the ‘purple’ sand at Pfeiffer State Beach in central California. This particular crystal infused eyeshadow is infused with tiger’s eye. I love that this eyeshadow isn’t too try, likely due to squalane! (also a favorite ingredient of skincare).

For the past 2 weeks I’ve been applying it first with my ring fingers. The Victoria Beckham Lid Lustre clean beauty eyeshadow applied so easily, but some of the particles did drift down on my face like loose shadows tend to do. With this type of application, the color does fade a bit over a few hours leaving beyond a hint of sparkly.

The BEST way to apply this lid lustre eyeshadow I’ve found, however, is with a wet eyeshadow brush. Applying Victoria Beckham Lid Lustre wet provides increased color (darker) intensity for the Mink color and extends the life of the shadow by hours!

Thank you for the info. I have e tremely sensitive eyes too. Stopped wearing mascara and don’t wear eye make up too often. I didn’t know talc was the offender.
